New Chairman Appointed
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Peter Bordui as
our new chairman. Peter has served as director of a number of
public and private technology companies in Europe and the US,
including an extended role as chairman of fibre-optic component
maker Bookham (now Oclaro).
Commenting on Peter's appointment, Graeme Malcolm, our CEO and
co-founder stated: "We are delighted to welcome Peter to the board
and growing team at M Squared Lasers. We are enthusiastic about
working with him and benefiting from his experience and skills in
scaling highly successful customer-focused photonics
companies."
Peter is equally positive about joining M Squared Lasers. "I am
impressed with the M Squared team and how they have managed to
establish a profitable business in a relatively short period of
time," he said. "The company has some disruptive technology,
particularly in remote mid-IR sensing. I have been happy to see
their management focus on problem-solving for their customers, and
look forward to contributing to their progress."
Peter currently serves as chairman of both Luxembourg-based
Media-Lario Technologies and BeamExpress of Switzerland. He has
also held executive management roles at both Siemens Corporation
and JDSU, Inc. He started his career in research and development of
electronic materials and holds six patents in the field.
