Sales Director

Mark is a passionate business professional with a wealth of experience working for entrepreneurial technology companies. Since joining M Squared in 2015, he has played a pivotal role in the company, both building the scientific laser division and developing a highly skilled sales team that balances commercial and scientific knowledge.

Mark takes an active interest in our scientific customer's research to ensure we focus on product suitability and maintain a 'science-first' approach. He also dedicates himself to helping extend the range of products and services we offer to our global customer base. Since Mark joined the company, our overall scientific laser division has more than doubled in size.

During the early part of his career, Mark earned a first-class masters degree in electronic engineering with music from the University of Glasgow, which led him to take up a role at Linn Products. He spent over a decade at the audio equipment company, where he held various management and leadership positions. He benefitted greatly from working across the business, building in-depth experiences in areas such as global R&D, procurement, engineering and ultimately sales where he helped to grow worldwide sales and transition the company's sales strategy through distribution to direct sales via specialist retailers.
