With exceptional vision, leadership and management skills, Mark ensures that precise operational controls, reporting procedures and people systems are in place to enable the business to excel. Mark also takes an active interest in M Squared's customer base, so that the company continues to engineer relevant, innovative and award-winning photonics solutions for scientists and researchers.
Mark received a first-class masters degree in electronic engineering with music from the University of Glasgow, which led him to take up a role at Linn Products during the early part of his career. He spent over a decade at the company and held various management and leadership positions. He worked across the business, building in-depth experiences in areas such as global R&D, procurement, engineering and ultimately sales where he helped to grow worldwide sales and transition the company's sales strategy through distribution to direct sales via specialist retailers.
